Dear Brother...

Happy Birthday kid! Finally you turn 16. I was going to wish you Happy Sweet 16th if you were a girl. So instead, just a Happy 16th Birthday will have to do I guess. So sorry I won't be able to call you today. But you've already received my present, so don't make a fuss.

All grown up already. But I'm still older than you, therefore, I'll never ever stop nagging you. Just hope that you'll be good and grow up well. Work hard for what you want, I'll give you my support. Best wishes to you on your birthday ok! See you when I come back next. Have fun!

Lots of Love,
-Your Loving Sis-

The Things I Like About Christmas...

Whoo~ Christmas is just about a month away. After coming in contact with snow for the first time in my life, I have never been more excited about Christmas than right now. I'm totally 'dreaming of a white christmas' (but that obviously won't happen here in Asia, so note to self: the word is dreaming).

Even though I'm not a Christian or a Catholic, but I totally love Christmas! And these are the reasons why I lurvvvv it so much!

The decorations everywhere are just so lovely and beautiful. And for once I won't hate the red and green colours.

The screening of old christmas cartoons on tv is certainly something to look forward to. Even if I don't usually wake up early in my adult life, I won't mind doing it just to watch Donald fighting with the chipmunks or Mickey getting ready for Christmas. Ha ha ha...

I just put up a Christmas tree not measuring more than a meter together with my housemate. Its small, but still fun hanging the ornaments and all.

You get to see all types of Santa Clauses. Fat ones, skinny ones, tall and short ones. Its weird and very confusing for kids especially those who like to believe that Santa is staying in Antartica with his whole bunch of elves and a toy making factory.

Christmas shopping can be a hassle to some but also joy to some others. Its 50/50 for me. But its nice shopping during Christmas because you get to see alot of interesting items on display.

I've also made an exception to enjoy wrapping presents for Christmas. Queing up at departmental stores for free wrapping is obviously the easy way out. But I don't mind sitting down with tapes, scissors and wrapping papers for just this once in the 365 days. Anyone who needs the service can kindly proceed to contact my mobile. I charge per present, unless you have one whole load of it, maybe I can charge you package deal instead. *winks*

I've been lucky enough to be able to celebrate Christmas with my aunts and uncles in Singapore. They usually get together over a Christmas dinner, involving salads, roasted turkey, a whole huge leg of ham, potatoes, BBQ-ed chicken wings and other mouth watering dishes.

But I'm sure anyone would agree with me that the most anticipated part of tis' season is the spirit of giving, which means presents. Presents are the most important thing during Christmas. It really doesn't have to be an expensive gift. Its the gesture of exchanging gifts that makes it meaningful.

There are so many other things I like about Christmas. Anything and everything about it just gives me a very warm and fuzzy feeling. I hope my friends and family will enjoy it as much as I do.

Merry Christmas! Ho Ho Ho~

Haih~

Staying out away from family really isn't so fun everytime. When you are on your own, its true you have your own personal space and privacy. But when it comes to falling sick, you would rather there is someone there for you. Someone to pamper you, to take care of you and tell you you'll be fine. It sucks when you feel weak and unable to do anything. And when you are sick, sometimes you just don't think right. Haih~

Dear housemate, I know you feel awful now. But I really am no mother. Have no idea how to take care of you. The most I can do is accompany you to a doctor's and make sure you take your medication. I really hope it isn't food poisoning caused by the pasta tonight. It'll only make me feel worse. I'll probably never ever cook again (not like I ever cook much). Just get well soon.

Slow slow...

Today is just like any other day. But...
*tsk tsk tsk*
I'm so super slow. Supposed to put up this blog like last year but I only got to it today. Even my housemate who got to learn about blogs later than me and thru me, has already started one of
her own. Talk about being slow... Oh well, the thing is, I've finally got one I can call my own. In the future, this will serve as a time filler for me. Until then....
